Nine Oaks Fisheries have planted many large and small lilies in all lakes throughout the complex. An OLD screen shot of the index page of Nineoaks’ web site

Large and small Lillies planted in all of the Trout Pools around the edges.

Large and small Lillies also planted in the Main Lake around the edges and towards the lake center.

The web site now contains many new pages and better picture viewing:

More water plants such as Lilies, Water Cress, Water Mint and so on are continuously being planted in all lakes. The Carp lakes are however proving difficult to get the plants established successfully.

The drive in to the Fishery Car Park has been re-surfaced with Tarmac to eradicate the pot holes.

The kitchen area in the Fishery Lodge has new Kitchen Unit’s and fridge installed, and along with the rest room area are in the process of being re-painted internally.

Many tons of scalping have been used to build up the softening edges around the Main Lake where they have been under-cut by the Carp.

During autumn 2009 many more trees around the Main Lake have been reduced in height and in some cases thinned out to improve access to the water and make overhead casting easier.

In Autumn 2009 small Brown Trout have been added to each Trout Lake and small Chub added to the Main Pool.

In issue #2 of TCF (Total Coarse Fishing) magazine Nineoaks Fishery was rated amongst the top 10 Fisheries in England and Wales for Surface Fishing - Floating Bread etc.
